Schaefer's is a Chicagoland institution that matches great service with a vast, eclectic collection of the best wines, food, brews, and distilled spirits. Now celebrating 75 years at the same corner, our goal is to "wow'" you.
Map and store hours. Schaefer's is conveniently located just east of Westfield Old Orchard & just a few miles east of the Edens Expressway (I-94).
Schaefer's history. George Schaefer Sr. opened the doors January 1, 1936, and we've been a fixture ever since. His grand-daughter, Anje, carries on the tradition as Schaefer's executive vice-president. Bill Graham purchased Schaefer's in 2009.
